Only a 23-minute drive away, Chrome Hill has often been remarked as the best photography spot in the Peak District. If you’ve seen a ridge line photo in the Peaks, with trees and rocks on one side and a wall of grass on the other, it was almost certainly taken at Chrome Hill.
There are two iconic hills, called Chrome Hill and Parkhouse Hill, that are considered a must-see when you’re planning to explore the Peak District.
On-road parking is available in Earl Sterndale, from where a 5 mile circular walk starts.
