The closest shops to the Chapel are in Hartington, a short ten-minute drive away – a gorgeous little village with an impressive number of amenities, like a village store, farm shop, and most essentially a cheese shop (which we highly recommend!).
If you’re heading to the North Peaks, Longnor has a general store for essentials, only 14 minutes away.
For big shops, Ashbourne has a decent sized Sainsbury’s, Co-op and M&S, which is 20 minutes away. Or 30 minutes away, Leek has a mega-sized Sainsbury’s.
