Wolfscote Dale
The Wolfscote and Biggin dales are right next to each other, and only a 10-minute drive from The Old Chapel. There are a number of starting points including Alstonefield, Hartington and Biggin.
A beautiful river runs through the green valley dotted with trees and rocky outcrops.
There is also a 6 mile circular Wolfscote Dale walk route which begins in the village of Hartington and goes through Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale and then ends with Beresford Dale. There is a pay and display Wolfscote Dale car park on Mill Lane in the village called Parson’s Field Car Park.
